My name is Stu M. Adelman. I'm an illustrator and artist. I've been deaf since I was born. I talk and read lips very well. I created this web site for myself, because it's important for me to show my illustrations and drawings on the internet to make it easier for viewers to see my work and know who I am.

This is my first web site, and I expect to make improvements in the future. I hope you'll find my illustrations and drawings to your liking.
I graduated from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2001. I took animation programming as my major, but my heart leans toward illustrations. I'm interested in working on illustrations, cartoons, other types of art and graphic design right now. I'm proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and some other desktop media software.

I'm a big fan of the comic strip Calvin & Hobbies created by Bill Watterson. I also admired many other illustrators, cartoonists and animators such as Norman Rockwell, Frank Cho, Chuck Jones and many more. I really like to work on children's books the most. Presently, I am working with authors, and I've illustrated their latest children's books. It was my first collaboration with authors. We have created several books but have not been published yet.
I want to create and write on my own children's books, novels and comic books.

I'm very good with watercolor, color pencils, inks, acrylic paints, other mixed mediums and the computer. I am getting compliments for my illustrations as being quite vivid, colorful and imaginary. I also create greeting cards, cartoon paintings, small sculptures framed and unframed, as well as my own comic strips. Make sure to look for the latest page to see the updated projects. They are on sale at reasonable prices!
My goal from this web site is to find some other authors who need an illustrator for their children's books with whom I could team-up and work.

Thank you taking the time to read this.
